Sanqingshan considered as a holy place was used by followers of Taoism for meditation, and is believed to give eternal life. The place is shrouded in fog for 200 days a year and this fog contributed to a very relaxing environment, along with thousands of tributaries that flow into the lakes, granite formations that resemble human and animal forms and pine trees shaped unique.

Lakes and vegetation create a unique environment that attracts many species of birds and exotic animals that are rarely found.
